Purchase of own securities

On 21 June 2007, Reckitt Benckiser plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited 50,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 2724.63 pence per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 6,784,544 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 715,562,579 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
