BP p.l.c. - 11 July 2008

BP p.l.c. announces that on 10 July 2008, it purchased for cancellation 1,300,000 ordinary shares at prices between 539.50 pence and 547.75 pence per share.

Following the above transaction BP p.l.c. holds 1,905,554,368 ordinary shares in Treasury, and has 18,795,096,527 ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
