Pennon Group PLC09 November 2007 Pennon Group Plc announces that it has today purchased through Credit Suisse(Securities) Europe Limited 44,320 ordinary shares at a price of 589.76 penceper share. The purchased shares will all be held in treasury. Following the above purchaseand non-cancellation of such equity shares, Pennon Group Plc will hold 6,173,785ordinary shares in treasury and a total of 348,990,489 ordinary shares will bein issue (excluding shares to be held in treasury).
