The following amendment has been made to the 'Purchase of own shares for cancellation' announcement released on 20 February 2013 under RNS No 3422Y.

The number of shares purchased for cancellation was 200,000, not 225,000 as originally stated

Purchase of own shares for cancellation

Compass Group PLC announces that on 20 February 2013 it purchased for cancellation 200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 804.42 pence per share through Morgan Stanley Securities Limited.
