Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 17 March 2016 it purchased 42,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.0800.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 2,074,340 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 117,808,407 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 117,808,407 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
