Imperial Tobacco has today, 14 November 2013, purchased 100,000 Ordinary Shares at an average price of 2390.93 pence per Ordinary Share. The highest price paid was 2398 pence per Share and the lowest 2382 pence per Share.

The purchased Shares will all be held as treasury Shares. Following the above purchase, Imperial Tobacco holds 98,788,532 Ordinary Shares as treasury Shares. The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Shares held as treasury Shares) is 969,154,349.
