Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 15 July 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 500,000 (five hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 374.1682 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 375.60 pence and 372.70 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 47,185,920 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,152,743,772 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
