CRH PLC13 March 2008 13th March 2008 SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME CRH plc announces that on 12th March 2008, UBS Limited purchased, on behalf ofthe Company, 73,569 Ordinary Shares of €0.32 each in CRH plc at prices between€24.53 and €25.00 per Ordinary Share. The purchased shares will be held asTreasury Shares. CRH plc also announces that on 12th March 2008 it transferredto participants in its employee share schemes 536,132 Ordinary Shares at pricesbetween €12.6416 and €20.91 per Ordinary Share and at £15.68 per Ordinary Share. Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 6,422,877 Ordinary Shares inTreasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is540,804,317.
