Purchase of own shares

Compass Group PLC announces that on 27 July 2015 it purchased 250,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1086.4000 pence per share through Morgan Stanley International plc.

Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.

Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 6,571,122 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,650,206,260 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
