Transaction in Own Shares

Schroders plc today acquired through J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd 50,000 of its non-voting ordinary shares at an average price of 1049.57912 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, Schroders plc holds 2,640,756 non-voting ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of non-voting shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 61,081,167.
