TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES
Close Brothers Group plc announces that it has today purchased 80,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 605.4 pence. The highest and lowest price paid for these shares were 611 pence and 600.5 pence respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares for the purpose of satisfying option grants and share awards made under the Company's employee share plans.
Following the purchase of these shares, Close Brothers Group plc holds 2,664,662 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 146,718,262 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
