Bloomsbury Publishing Plc (the "Company") announces that on 11 June 2010, it purchased for cancellation, 12,500 ordinary shares of 1.25p each at an average price of 113.5 pence each per share.

Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital is now 73,844,724 ordinary shares of 1.25p each.
