Of theseShares, 160,000 were purchased on-market from Morgan Stanley at a price of401.1923 pence per Share and 304,265 were purchased off-market directly from GUSHoldings Limited also at a price of 401.1923 pence per share in accordance withthe Agreement dated 20 December 2004 between the Company and GUS plc approved bythe Company's shareholders on 20 December 2004.
