Pennon Group PLC26 September 2007 Pennon Group Plc announces that it has today purchased through Credit Suisse(Securities) Europe Limited 100,000 ordinary shares at a price of 600.87 penceper share. The purchased shares will all be held in treasury. Following the above purchaseand non-cancellation of such equity shares, Pennon Group Plc will hold 6,107,100ordinary shares in treasury and a total of 349,057,174 ordinary shares will bein issue (excluding shares to be held in treasury).
