Enterprise Inns plc - Transaction in Own Shares

Enterprise Inns plc (the "Company") announces that on 20th May 2016, pursuant to the authority given to the Company by its shareholders, and a share repurchase programme with Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, it purchased for cancellation from Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch 56,426 ordinary shares for which the highest price paid was 96.00 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 93.50 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has 552,645,231 ordinary shares in issue, including 50,000,000 shares held in treasury. The total voting rights excluding shares held in treasury is now 502,645,321. 

The above figure of 502,645,231 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
