Transaction in own shares

bwin.party announces that on 8 December 2011 it purchased, through Numis Securities Limited, 242,594 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 136.02 pence per share. The highest price paid was 137.8 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 133.0 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 13,490,431 shares for cancellation, since 6 September 2011 when the buy-back programme commenced. The total number of bwin.party shares in issue is 839,418,840 and the total number of voting rights in issue is 835,484,341 (total number of shares in issue minus 3,934,499 shares held by the employee benefit trust in respect of which the voting rights have been waived).
