Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 9 September 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 895,671 (eight hundred and ninety five thousand and six hundred and seventy one) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 393.7341 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 395.70 pence and 390.90 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 57,256,367 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,142,673,325 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
