The Company announces that it has today purchased 38,676 ordinary shares into Treasury at 395.34 pence per share.
Following the transaction the Company holds 53,062,731 shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 228,571,179. The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
