Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 30 May 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,800,000 (one million eight hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 375.6531 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 380.10 pence and 372.20 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 27,711,044 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,172,218,648 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
