Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited: Transaction in own shares

Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited (the "Company") announces that on 22 May 2008 it purchased 1,200,000 ordinary shares at an average price of EUR 0.6602 per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 14,596,824 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 313,203,176 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
