Transaction in own shares

St Ives plc announces that, on 4 February 2014, it purchased through Numis Securities Limited 100,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company at a price of 192.54 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. The highest price paid was 198.00 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 190.00 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 735,780 ordinary shares in Treasury and has a total of 120,967,649 ordinary shares of 10p each (excluding shares held in Treasury) in issue. The number of ordinary shares purchased represented approximately 0.083% of the voting rights attributable to the total ordinary shares in issue prior to such purchase.
