HIGHBRIDGE MULTI-STRATEGY FUND LIMITED (THE 'COMPANY')

TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Company announces that on 27 January, 2017 it purchased 635,000 Sterling Ordinary Shares of no par value ('Shares') at an average price per share of 198.44 pence each.

The Shares purchased will be held in treasury on acquisition.

Following the above purchase, the total number of Shares in issue is 131,627,733, of which 31,015,614 Shares are held by the Company in treasury. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 100,612,119 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations to determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
