Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 17 May 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,200,000 (one million two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 387.2098 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 388.80 pence and 385.70 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 16,986,795 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,182,942,897 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
