Purchase of own securities

On 30 October 2008, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 150,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of ‚£24.9044 per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 12,731,631 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 709,636,881 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
