Howden Joinery Group Plc - Transaction in Own Shares
Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 31 July 2015 it purchased through J.P. Morgan Securities plc the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 491.34p per share:

Highest purchase price paid per share: | 495.70p |
Lowest purchase price paid per share: | 479.20p |
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 2,000,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 649,830,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
