Transaction in own shares

bwin.party announces that on 20 January 2012 it purchased, through an independent third party, 252,701 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 161.57 pence per share. The highest price paid was 166.30 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 159.10 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 18,183,664 shares for cancellation, since 6 September 2011 when the buy-back programme commenced. The total number of bwin.party shares in issue is 834,725,607 and the total number of voting rights in issue is 831,667,813 (total number of shares in issue minus 3,057,794 shares held by the employee benefit trust in respect of which the voting rights have been waived).
