3i Group PLC27 October 2005 UK Listing Authority Disclosure Rules DR 3.1 The following replaces the "Transaction in Own Shares" announcement released on26 October 2005 at 13.51 under RNS Number 1991T. That announcement gave anincorrect issued share capital figure as at 25th October, due to receipt ofincorrect information. It should have read as now detailed below. 3i Group plc On 20th & 21st October 2005 it was announced that 3i Group plc had purchased1,115,000 & 400,000 respectively of its own ordinary shares of 53 1/8p each("Shares"), for cancellation.
