HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES

Halfords Group PLC announces that on 11 November 2011 it purchased, through Investec Bank PLC, 50,236 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 339.5677 pence per share. The highest price paid was 340.0 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 338.5 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 9,320,198 shares for cancellation and 5,449,620 for transfer into treasury, since 7 April 2011 when the buy back programme commenced.
