Pennon Group PLC12 June 2007 Pennon Group Plc 12 June 2007 Transaction in Own Shares Pennon Group Plc announces that it has today purchased through Merrill LynchInternational 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 627.82 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held in treasury. Following the abovepurchase, Pennon Group Plc will hold 250,000 ordinary shares in treasury. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares to be held intreasury) is 355,874,274.
