Diageo plc ("Diageo") announces today that it has purchased 1,400,000 of its ordinary shares of 28 101/108 pence each on the London Stock Exchange and other recognised investment exchanges from Citigroup Global Markets Limited as follows. Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Diageo on 6th February 2019, as announced on 7th February 2019:
