Purchase of own shares

Novae announces that on 17 February 2012 it purchased 10,000 Ordinary shares of £1.125 at a price of 359 pence per share (with the highest price being 360 pence and the lowest price being 358 pence per share) representing 0.02% of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital. These 10,000 Ordinary shares are to be held in treasury.

For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the total number of Ordinary shares in issue as at the date of this notice (excluding 532,900 Ordinary Shares held in treasury) is 64,552,740.

The figure of 64,552,740 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest, in the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
