Quintain Estates & Development PLC16 June 2006 Quintain Estates and Developments PLC announces that on 16 June 2006 itpurchased from JPMorgan Cazenove Limited 210,000 ordinary shares at an averageprice of 611.8571 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasuryshares. Following the above purchase, Quintain Estates and Developments PLCholds 280,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 129,050,166 ordinary sharesin issue (excluding treasury shares). These purchases were made pursuant to the authority that was granted byshareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 6 September 2005 and areconsistent with the Company's overall capital management strategy.
