Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that pursuant to the general authority granted by shareholders of the Company on 25 July 2012 to make market purchases of its own ordinary shares of 50p each ("Ordinary Shares"), it purchased for cancellation on 31 July 2013 10,000 Ordinary Shares and on 6 August 2013 12,500 Ordinary Shares at a price of 300p per Ordinary Share.
Following the purchase and cancellation, the Company's issued share capital now consists of 18,712,736 Ordinary Shares with voting rights.
Therefore, the above figure of 18,712,736 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
