TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES
The Board of SPARK VCT PLC announces that on 25 August 2009 the Company purchased for cancellation 391,004 ordinary shares of 5p at a price of 5.46p per share.
Following the share buy back, the issued share capital and voting rights of SPARK VCT plc are as follows:
SPARK VCT plc's share capital consists of 110,370,134 Ordinary shares 5p with voting rights attached one vote per Ordinary share. Therefore the total number of voting rights in SPARK VCT plc is 110,370,134.
The above total voting rights figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in SPARK VCT plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
