Transaction in Own Shares

 

The Company announces that on 4th June 2009 it purchased 250,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 1524.57 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. 

 

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 12,690,041 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 276,282,985.
