Ferrexpo PLC announces that on 30 September 2008 it purchased 300,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 157.9293 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, Ferrexpo PLC holds 25,343,814 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 588,624,142 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
