Bunzl PLC06 June 2007 6 June 2007 BUNZL PLC TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES Bunzl plc ("Bunzl") announces that it has today purchased through CitigroupGlobal Markets U.K. Equity Limited 500,000 of its ordinary shares at an averageprice of 718.3949p per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasuryshares. Following the above purchase, Bunzl holds 13,200,000 ordinary shares as treasuryshares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held astreasury shares) is 336,302,600.
