Purchase of own securities

On 10 September 2007, Reckitt Benckiser plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited 125,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 2633.61 pence per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 9,322,687 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 713,039,631 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
