Howden Joinery Group Plc - Transaction in Own Shares
Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 17 September 2015 it purchased through J.P. Morgan Securities plc the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 484.63p per share:

Highest purchase price paid per share: | 486.50p |
Lowest purchase price paid per share: | 482.20p |
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 6,200,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 645,630,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
