Transaction in Own Shares

RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 16th December 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 36,401 Ordinary Shares at prices between €13.64 and €21.5235 per Ordinary Share and at a price of £11.19 per Ordinary Share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 806,415 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 823,104,838.
