Transaction in Own Shares

RE-ISSUE OF TREASURY SHARES

CRH plc announces that yesterday, 9nd September 2015, it transferred to participants in its employee share schemes 28,181 Ordinary Shares at prices between €13.64 and €21.5235 per Ordinary Share and at prices between £11.19 and £15.30 per Ordinary share.

Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 1,360,225 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 822,262,259.
