Land Securities Group Plc13 June 2006 Land Securities Group PLC13 June 2006 Land Securities Group PLC - Transactions in Own Shares Land Securities Group PLC (the "Company") announces that on 13 June 2006 itpurchased from JPMorgan Cazenove Limited 500,000 ordinary shares at an averageprice of 1714.5994 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held astreasury shares. Following the above purchase, Land Securities Group PLC holds500,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 468,820,668 ordinary shares inissue (excluding treasury shares). These purchases were made pursuant to the authority that was granted byshareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on 12 July 2005 and areconsistent with the Company's overall capital management strategy which seeks tomaintain an appropriate balance sheet structure.
