Purchase of Own Securities
Paddy Power plc announces today that Goodbody Stockbrokers has purchased, on behalf of the Company's subsidiary, Paddy Power Isle of Man Limited, 150,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company at an average price of €16.567 per share.
The highest price paid was €16.90 per share (excluding expenses) and the lowest price paid was €16.30 per share (excluding expenses).
All the purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 1,144,000 shares in treasury and has 48,081,752 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
