Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 5 November 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,090,000 (one million ninety thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 299.0063 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 300.40 pence and 297.40 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 75,349,394 ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,970,241,084 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
This completes the £420 million share repurchase programme announced by Centrica plc on 18 December 2013.
