CRH PLC28 February 2008 28th February 2008 SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME CRH plc announces that on 27th February 2008, Davy purchased, on behalf of theCompany, 109,000 Ordinary Shares of €0.32 each in CRH plc at prices between€26.25 and €26.55 per Ordinary Share. The purchased shares will be held as Treasury Shares. CRH plc also announces that on 27th February 2008 it transferred to aparticipant of an employee share scheme 3,000 Ordinary Shares at €17.2615 per Ordinary Share. Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 5,572,999 Ordinary Shares inTreasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is541,654,195.
