REPURCHASE OF SHARES

JPMorgan Emerging Markets Dividend Income plc (the "Company") has today repurchased 250,000 ordinary shares into Treasury at 179.01 pence per share.
Following the transaction, the Company holds 34,670,153 ordinary shares in Treasury. The remaining ordinary shares in issue less the total number of shares in Treasury is 262,619,285.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
The Company will only re-issue shares held in Treasury at a premium to net asset value.
