Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 22 August 2014, it purchased (through Barclays Bank PLC) 750,000 (seven hundred and fifty thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 317.4874 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 318.00 pence and 316.40 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 58,967,474 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,020,976,552 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
