Old Mutual PLC27 November 2007 Old Mutual plc Ref 90/07 27 November 2007 Transaction in Own Shares Old Mutual plc ("the Company") announces that on 26 November 2007 it purchasedthrough Merrill Lynch International and Merrill Lynch South Africa (Pty) Limiteda total of 2,375,725 of the Company's ordinary shares of 10p each. 1,750,000 of these shares were acquired on the London Stock Exchange at anaverage price of 159.45 pence per share and 625,725 shares were acquired on theJSE Limited at an average price of ZAR 22.51 per share. The purchased shares will be held in treasury. The Company's current issuedshare capital is now 5,446,990,951 ordinary shares of 10p each (excluding the62,675,259 shares that have so far been repurchased into treasury).
