Transaction in own Shares

24 February 2014- Experian plc, the global information services company, hereby announces that, on 24 February 2014, 7,545,454 ordinary shares of 10 US cents each in the Company ("ordinary shares") were transferred from RBC cees Trustee Limited, the trustee of the Experian plc Employee Share Trust, to the Company at a price of 1,100 pence per share, in satisfaction of a loan repayment to the Company. The transferred shares will be held by the Company in treasury.

The Company's capital consists of 1,031,608,009 ordinary shares with voting rights and 20 deferred shares of 10 US cents each which have no voting rights. Following the transfer, Experian plc holds 38,536,619 shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in Experian plc is 993,071,390.

The figure of 993,071,390 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company's shares under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
