Transaction in Own Shares

The Board of Water Intelligence plc (AIM:WATR) announces that on 4 January 2017, it purchased 73,600 ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 88.5 pence per Ordinary Share.

Following this transaction, the issued share capital of the Company carrying voting rights is 12,000,233 shares, which is divided into 11,400,233 Ordinary Shares admitted to trading on AIM, and 600,000 Partly Paid Shares of 1 penny each which are not admitted to trading on AIM. The Company also holds 73,600 Ordinary Shares in treasury which carry no voting rights.

The Company's total issued share capital figure is therefore 12,000,233 shares. This number may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
